We recommend that you request materials in advance to make your visit more efficient and to ensure materials are available.

The Rare Books and Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room has been temporarily relocated to Irving K. Barber Learning Centre room 142 due to upgrades.

Chinese Canadian Historical Society to honour Elder Larry Grant and Howard Grant

The Chinese Canadian Historical Society of British Columbia is holding a special dinner in conjunction with its AGM this Saturday, March 1 to honour Elder Larry Grant and Howard Grant of the Musqueam First Nation.

Elder Larry Grant is of both Musqueam and Chinese descent and have strong ties to both communities. You can read more about the history of Chinese-Canadian and First Nations marriages and families on the Chinese Canadian Stories site.
