Closed on weekends and the following statutory holidays: Monday, February 19; Friday, March 29; Monday, April 1; Thursday, April 18-Friday, April 19

We recommend that you request materials in advance to make your visit more efficient and to ensure materials are available.

The Rare Books and Special Collections and University Archives Reading Room has been temporarily relocated to Irving K. Barber Learning Centre room 142 due to upgrades.

Instructional Support Request Form

  • Rare Books and Special Collections welcomes requests for class visits to the RBSC seminar room. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred date and time, but we recommend booking at least one month prior to the visit in order to ensure classroom availability and enough preparation time for our staff.
  • e.g., HIST 240 - Health, Illness and Medicine I
  • Our seminar room can accommodate up to 25 students. If you have a larger class, you can book multiple sessions in RBSC to split the class into smaller groups.
  • e.g., MWF, 10:00-10:50 a.m.; Thursday, 1:00-2:20 p.m.
