UBC Library Shakespeare First Folio Access Request

Due to the age and fragility of UBC Library’s first folio, particularly the early 19th c. binding, RBSC must limit physical access to patrons whose research requires in-person consultation of this specific copy of the folio (Apsley Cherry-Garrard copy, Rasmussen/West no. 202). For research not requiring physical access, a fully digitized high-resolution version of the folio is freely available through UBC Library's Open Collections.
